San Antonio Rose

  San Antonio Rose

Bronze - limited edition of 40

25" x 18" x 9"

Modelled after a Wild West performer but made famous by the Bob Wills song from 1944:

Moon in all your splendor, know only my heart,
Call back my Rose, Rose of San Antone.
Lips so sweet and tender, like petals falling apart
Speak once again of my love, my own.

Broken song, empty words I know,
Still live in my heart all alone
For that moon-lit pass by the Alamo,
And Rose, my Rose of San Antone.

Annie Oakley and Dave

  Annie Oakley & Dave

Bronze - limited edition of 75

limited edition of 75, 14" x 12" x 12"

This is a maquette for a lifesize bronze of Annie and her dog. Dave would sit on a stool while Annie would shoot apples off of his head as part of her act in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.

Annie was a genuine super star of her day. She could not miss whatever she aimed at and she put on entire shows for orphan kids.

I love Annie Oakley.
