Modelled after Robert Duvall as the character "Gus" from the television miniseries, "Lonesome Dove". He is now the most famous, though fictional, Texas Ranger that ever was.

From a photograph of Jimmie Rodgers, who was called the Father of Country Music, he wrote and sang many popular songs including “T for Texas”.

He was also known as the Singing Brakeman because of his early career on the railroad.

Breaking an ornery cayuse too close to cactus, Tex shows off his name in studs on his chaps. He spent his wages from the last trail drive on a new custom saddle.

He is 17 years old and a seasoned veteran. Many cowboys were just that... boys.
